The Final Part 4 Interview with John Walker Founder of Autodesk

The final part is now posted. Part 4 deals with a discussion about past and future business opportunities in John’s opinion, a raw no sugar added form. John was the founder of Autodesk but he has been disassociated for many years from Autodesk living in a beautiful quaint village in Switzerland.

Kean did a stellar job on this 4 part interview series. I thought he did better than some formally anointed journalist interviews, but he is a blogger Through the Interface.

  • Part 1 – Autodesk’s early history
  • Part 2 – AutoCAD’s architecture & APIs
  • Part 3 – Autodesk’s eco-system and strategy
  • Part 4 – Past and future opportunities

In honor of the completion of this series, I will be posting some more old Autodesk and AutoCAD memorabilia later today to my Flickr photo sets http://www.flickr.com/photos/btl/ in the Autodesk and AutoCAD History Set.

    Cheers,
    Shaan
