Autodesk has a public online Autodesk Trust Center to report security advisories, serious issues, and hopefully solutions to issues and exploits. There have recently made some updates on issues that could be serious and you should review and take appropriate action as necessary. It is commendable that Autodesk takes these issues serios and provides the alert and recommendations including solutions for customers with products with an expired of support contract but affected.

Tips & Tricks are too blasé for me that is why we do Hints & Hacks. This will be about making schedules work for the project. We will discuss working verses print schedules. Get Filters to help get things in or out of schedules. How about color coding a cell if there might be missing information? Use schedules for making notes that stay aligned or need to be broken into sections. Track what views are on sheets, what their view template is and how it is named? Sheets list with parameters to put them in an order not based on sheet number can be useful and so can grouping them by type.

A fun and funny video created by Tech3D walking through most of our Autodesk applications, but not all. Fitting video walkthrough commentary since in just over a week, on January 30th, 2022, it is Autodesk's 40th birthday/anniversary.

“Autodesk have a massive collection of software products, the descriptions are hard to understand and often intentionally vague. This video will explain every one of their products and cloud services as of January 2022, but this will change rapidly as Autodesk are a fast evolving company who make changes on a regular basis.”
I have been really impressed with the new launched AutoCAD Web App that is included with the AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD LT 2019 subscription. I have been using it today on a bunch of drawings to kick the tires. There is nothing to download or install, just launch your web browser and go to https://web.autocad.com/ and log in.
Not only can you view and edit drawings,
but you can create new drawings using the same AutoCAD DNA as the desktop version. The AutoCAD Web App isn't full desktop AutoCAD on the cloud, but it is a definite step in that direction.
