The Recipe for Project Management: Construction or Code
How AI and Tech Help Manage Risk in Construction

Spring, Sort Of

The last couple of months have been tough. Stefanie’s daughter had a serious medical emergency. She was in the hospital, went through multiple surgeries, and needed constant IV meds and antibiotics. It was a lot.

Stefanie stayed by her side every step of the way. She made sure her daughter got the care she needed while also trying to keep her work going. She hardly came home. Now her daughter is back in her apartment, and doing better. Stefanie is back home too. Things aren’t totally back to normal, but they’re moving in a better direction.

We only had a few short chances to reset. A couple weekend days together. A quick trip to Hood River. A work visit to Eugene. Summer is getting closer. There’s a little more breathing room. We’re getting ready for a volunteer project in Peru with BTCV and finally have something to look forward to.

A few photos from our spring escapes and activities.

Paddling, Coho river swimming, pizza with my friend, and an outdoor concert at a brewery..

A speakeasy (86 Speakeasy) required a password to enter via a janitor door and a Korean/Mexican restaurant (Taco Mogo) with amazing Korean tacos.

Hood River Oregon with the apple and pear orchards in full bloom. We also stopped for a beer and epic Mt Hood view at Solera Brewing and then visited Hood River Tulip Festival
