I hope you will again join the AEC Hackathon organized by an independent group of AEC technology and built environment superheroes. These events are normally held in person, but with the current COVID-19 they pivoted this summer with the first online version being a hit in light of all the quirks and challenges online live sessions and collaboration can bring they pulled it off. I really enjoyed being mentor and speaking with some of the teams. The speaker sessions were very informative as were the discussions and pitches by the teams competing.
They are holding v2 in October, I hope you join in at least for the presentations and meeting people as it is a truly industry thought provoking and inspiring innovation exercise.
AEC Hackathon online v2 is our 45th event and our second virtual multi-week experience of online presentations, workshops, interviews, mentor hours, meetups, hackathon, and more.
The AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Hackathon was created in 2013 to give those designing, building, and maintaining our built environment the opportunity to collaborate with cutting edge technologies and its developers and designers. It’s an experience of geeking at its finest for improving the industries that affect all that live or work in a house or building. It has quickly become a global community of innovators that include all elements of the built environment. See our Frequently Asked Questions section on our website for the basics and Code of Conduct.
