ChickTech is a non-profit organization supporting women and girls in tech with community, education, and inspiration. ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers. It’s a great group of people and cause and they just lost a major source of their funding and need everyone's help. I'm challenging everyone to help ChickTech as they are not just helping Portland young women to get into STEM careers, but in many locations around the United States. Autodesk recognizes December as our Global Month of Giving and while we give throughout the year it is a big company focused campaign in December across the company by the Autodesk Foundation.
I chose ChickTech as my Global Month of Giving non-profit donation, and Autodesk matches that donation. I chose ChickTech because ChickTech is a great organization, need assistance urgently, does good things, and women throughout my life including my mother, grandmothers, friends, and daughter have made me realize how important it is to have a diverse representation everywhere.
