Back in May Autodesk employees in teams of 7 started the competition in step counts internally among 406 teams and tens of thousands of other teams from other companies in the Global Corporate Challenge. This was the second year for me as team leader for the OCTO (Office of the CTO) Team and we did very well.
Our “Team OCTO” of 7 covered 5105 miles in 100 days and placed 7th place in Autodesk and # 2016 overall among 42,498 corporate teams around the world.
Congratulations to my well motivated and successful team which were all colleagues in the Autodesk OCTO organization:
- Jeff Kowalski Autodesk Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
- Jon Pittman Autodesk Vice President, Corporate Strategy
- John Yee Autodesk Research
- Thomas White Autodesk Research
- Cory Mogk Autodesk Research
- Jeremy Mogk Autodesk Research
- And me Shaan Hurley as team lead this year
This was my 4th year participating, and each year improving my steps.
Congratulations to a crazy Autodesk team placing 72 overall and 1st at Autodesk with a staggering 8867 miles in 100 days by 7 team members. My guess is they lived on treadmills and bikes and hit a 31,994 daily step average..
