The 3D Engineers Guide to Drinks collaboration project started this week with a handful of talented and energetic AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360, and 3ds Max users. I will provide more details on the team and progress in the future. One team member has already started constructing all the glasses in 3D.
The goal is simple,bring the old 1970's era plot test 2D AutoCAD drawing into 3D in current Autodesk 3D products. I am sure we will have some exciting features specific to products such as Revit glasses done as buildings or massing elements, render test benchmark for materials in 3ds Max and some complicated assemblies and materials in Inventor but it will all be surprises along the way. We are using Autodesk 360 to collaborate and discuss the project.
