Are you flying into Salt Lake City over the next ten days, and want to have some fun?

Today the 2014 Sundance Film Festival is starting in Northern Utah. In the past I have met several independent film producers, stars, and directors on the flights to Salt Lake City during this time of the festival.

What generally occurs is the paparazzi flock to the arrivals area of the baggage claim, especially the Delta baggage claim looking to ambush photograph or interview the arriving stars and famous people.

As you descend down the stairs or escalator you may see all the camera packing paparazzi waiting to recognize someone arriving. I have found that if you wear a hat or hoodie, sunglasses, and a cold weather jacket and act as though you are trying to be casual and blend into the crowd it sends some of the paparazzi into a frenzy as they mistake you for a possible in disguised or incognito celebrity. The year before last I heard the camera shutters firing as we walked down the stairs while wearing a hat and looking away from the crowd.
