Trying a New Blog Writing Software on the iPad

After relying years relied on Live Writer the free blog writing utility from Microsoft even after trying several other I am trying a new one. Live Writer was so easy to draft blog posts, complex formatting and media, as well as options for keywords in SEO, but I am not always on my laptop running Windows.

Blogsy iPad App

Like I said I have tried several others over the ten years of non-stop blogging and am once again trying another this time an iPad App named Blogsy. Blogsy connects to many blogging hosts like Typepad which I use to host Between the Lines blog. While it doesn't have some of the nice formatting options it does have enough features to allow me to draft, edit and publish blog posts from almost anywhere and best of all from a tablet instead of breaking out the big laptop. I am using the nice aluminum iPad case by Logitech that has a built in Bluetooth keyboard which makes a huge difference when using the iPad for writing longer than a sentence.

So far so good...the only complaint is not being able to control margins around an image and the image dialog sits on top of your image making it a little work to see what the image formatting changes will look like.

Cheers,
Shaan

Here are the instructions on how Blogsy works
