Another Great Day in Istanbul
17 October 2008
I had a look around and visit to the underground cisterns of Yerebatan Saray Sarniçi and then inside a mosque, and seen architecture from 532BC.
I even got my fortune told by a chicken although I could have chose the rabbit to tell my fortune.
Then it was of by tram to the Mimar Sinan Güzel Santalar Üniversitesi to have lunch on the most beautiful waterfront of a University with great company and great local Turkish foods.
I presented to local customers one traveling 5 hours to see me and give me some Turkish candy. My presentation was about 2 hours then a question and answer period with discussions. I was honored to receive so many well thought out and detailed questions and will be taking the feedback to my team for review. The Turkish people are some of the nicest people I have met in all my travels and also the most diverse cultural with great food.
Tomorrow I head to Southern Turley to relax and hike during the weekend in Cappadocia which is similar to Moab Utah in some ways.
Cheers,
Shaan
