35,000 Miles Planned Next 3 Months
16 September 2008
Not by bicycle or hiking, but by plane basically around the world.
I have quite a lineup this fall for trips to customer events like 3 Autodesk Universities (Shanghai, Tokyo, Las Vegas), A trip to Istanbul, Kuwait, and Dubai and a trip to Kansas City. Of course I cannot fly non-stop direct to most locations and go through cities in transit like Seoul Korea, Paris, and Bahrain.
I never really get that excited about the travel process itself. All that time sitting in airports and in a seat for the equivalent of days in economy class in a high altitude fast flying aluminum cylinder. Being the places and meeting the people is the exciting part and makes the hassle of all the travel well worthwhile.
More details about the locations, events, and people soon like getting to visit the Daily AutoCAD crew in Istanbul Turkey along with local AutoCAD users, the CAD Midwest Technology Expo in Kansas City hosted by Autodesk Premier Solutions Partner Mid-West CAD, as well getting the honor of speaking at the FOCUS Kuwait group. If you, your user group, or company is located in one of the locations such as Shanghai, Tokyo, Istanbul, Kuwait, Dubai, or Kansas City, I hope to meet you and can stop by and make office visits for discussions just send me an email.
Dates:
- Kansas City Missouri September 30
- Istanbul Turkey October 16-22
- Kuwait City Kuwait October 22-26
- Dubai UAE October 26-27
- Shanghai China November 3-8
- Yokohama Japan November 8-13
- Las Vegas Nevada November 30- December 7th
If you have a large AutoCAD user group meeting and would like me to attend and/or present on topics like “Autodesk and AutoCAD past present and future”, “helping shape the future of all Autodesk products”, or perhaps out for a bite to eat, please send me an email with details of the meeting or event and perhaps I will be visiting your location.
I also might have a few locations more to add to my travel like Phoenix and a remote chance of Mexico City and Sao Paulo Brasil.
Luckily today I only have 598 miles to travel going to San Francisco and San Rafael California.
