I have some business meetings in a few locations and instead of playing the fun airline game I decided to drive so that I can also take some photos along the way and also not lose my luggage. As a bonus I get to take time between Las Vegas and Phoenix and take the scenic small road route and hopefully some great photos and stories. The complete trek is 1652 miles.

If you are in or near one of my transit or meeting points such as Vegas, Lake Havasu, Needles, Yuma, Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, or somewhere along the trail email me and perhaps I can stop by or meet you for a cup of coffee and chat. Perhaps you know of some great photographic areas or places to stop so please send me the details. My Blackberry aka CrackBerry, aka TrackBerry will be on and I should have a decent signal much of the journey as well as email. I am also taking my hiking gear and a tent for some off the beaten path adventure and relaxation in the desert.  I have blogged from the Amazon jungle, high in the Swiss alps, from a plane, so I don't think I will have any issues blogging from the desert roads and trails should I feel the blogging urge.
