I spent the weekend trying to fix my laptop which has been in a state of never ending Adobe Acrobat 8 installer with over 500MB on my hard disk. No matter what I do if I right click on a menu I get the Acrobat 8 installing for about 3 minutes. I have seen others on the web with the same issue and have uninstalled and reinstalled, repaired and other tricks to a tune of 8 hours with no success. It all started with an innocent install of Adobe Web Premium CS3.
Grrrr,,,,and I have a presentation today in Chicago.
