If you are attending Autodesk University this year in Las Vegas you should check out this years AU Connect site as well as the AU Blog by Joseph Wurcher the person behind many of the things and classes that make AU awesome and the top CAD event.

Here is the AU Connect pin map of people with similar profiles as mine (yes I guess that makes me an official "pinhead"). This is a great way to find people at AU with similar interests and meet new people or geeks. when you sign up for AU Connect you are presented with a profile request which you enter your information in based on Personality, Profession, Software, and Skills. So far the most closet match to me is Kevin Sturmer of WPH Architecture in Portland Oregon. I don't know if this match is a good thing or bad thing for Kevin :-). Looking at Kevin's profile I see we do indeed have many things in common such as both of us having lived in Oregon, love fishing and camping and seem to both be geeks. On the personality level we match on Adaptive, Curious, Easygoing, Energetic, Fun, Humorous, Patient, Personable, Resourceful, and Responsible. Ok so I stretched it a bit on the Patient personality question.  I also see a good friend Kal Houhou from Lessard Group in Washington DC in the top 5 closest to my AU Connect profile. I will be setting up some get togethers using AU Connect.
