Once a year I jump on my bicycle and raise some money for a good cause that helps people in our community. This year I will be riding for The American Lung Association as they celebrate their 100th anniversary. I will be riding in their Bike for Breath ride on Saturday, May 29 in their 65 mile ride. My goal this year is to raise $2500 in sponsorship money and that is where you can help. By donating to this great organization you will help support people with asthma, emphysema, lung cancer and other respiratory problems. They also provide information, materials and programs to keep kids educated on the hazards of smoking.
I ride for this cause because my father passed away from lung cancer 15 years ago. With your tax deductible donations I hope to help the lung association fight lung related diseases.
How do you donate?
The easiest way to donate using a credit card. I am riding in the Bike for Breath - The Two Rock Ride. Select Sponsor a rider and enter my name “Shawn Gilmour”. Follow the instructions from there.
I will be collecting your donation before the ride. (The ride is on May 29th)
